Therapy Reimagined Conference
Innovative. Cutting Edge. Authentic. Creative. Real. And grounded in best practices - legally, ethically, and clinically. Let’s reimagine therapy for the modern age!
Presenters: Robert Scholz, LMFT, LPCC & Elizabeth Irias, LMFT
Presentation Description: Like any great “artist” - actress, athlete, musician, psychotherapist - top performers take the time to appraise their skills, measure their effectiveness and make adjustments that make them better. Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) is a collaborative and deliberate approach for evaluating and improving the efficacy of therapy services. Through consistent and formal feedback conversations with clients about the therapeutic alliance and progress on treatment goals, therapy services are rigorously evaluated and then tailored to meet the dynamic needs and treatment goals of clients. Easy to integrate with most theoretical models of therapy, research shows that clinicians utilizing FIT strategies are able to more effectively keep clients in treatment, improve their treatment outcomes and identify earlier those clients whose symptoms are worsening. Simple and time-sensitive FIT measures will be discussed, demonstrated and practiced during this interactive session.
